Thomas G. Coulter, FSA, MAAA
President and Actuary

Tom has over 20 years of professional experience in the actuarial field. He earned his ASA while working at Colonial Penn and later earned his FSA while working at the Hartford Insurance Group. Prior to starting Coulter & Associates in 1988, Tom was a consultant with Johnson & Higgins.

Tom is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He is a frequent speaker at Actuarial meetings. Tom holds a BA in Physics from Princeton University.

Susan Coulter, CLU, ChFC
Principal Contract & Compliance Consultant

Susan has over 20 years of professional contract and management experience. Prior to joining Coulter & Associates, she held management positions with the Hartford Insurance Group and UNUM.

Susan is a Chartered Life Underwriter and a Chartered Financial Consultant. She holds an MSLS from the University of North Carolina.

Frank Cripps
Senior Contract & Compliance Consultant

Frank has over 30 years of insurance experience ranging from sales to home office executive management. Prior to joining Coulter & Associates in 2001, he was a private contract and regulatory compliance consultant.

Frank began his Compliance career as the underwriting manager at American Integrity, rising to the position of Vice President, Compliance before becoming a private consultant. He holds a BA in Social Sciences from Montclair State University.

Karen L. Pollitt, AIRC, CCP
Senior Contract & Compliance Consultant

Karen has over 20 years of insurance experience. Her career began as a NASD Registered Representative with the John Hancock Companies and then as a Group Contract Analyst with Combined International Insurance. Prior to joining Coulter & Associates, she was a Senior Analyst before becoming the Lead Contract Analyst at Colonial Penn Life.

Karen has earned the compliance designations of Associate, Insurance Regulatory Compliance, Associate Compliance Professional and Certified Compliance Professional.
She holds a BS in Business Management from Philadelphia University.
